Baby and Me Yoga
Postpartum can be an amazing time, getting to know your baby and your new role as a mother or parent. It can also be a hugely challenging time with lack of sleep, changing hormones, a healing body, a new identity and the sometimes isolated feeling that can come with being at home with a new baby. The intention of this class is to be a space where new moms/birthing people can move their bodies, connect to themselves and to others in the community. Research has shown that both movement and connection to others can help with depression.

The first 45 minutes of class will be dedicated to yoga poses focusing on both stretching and strengthening areas of our body that tend to be most affected in the time post birth. Breathing exercises will also be taught that can help with anxiety. The last 30 minutes of class will be a time to socialize with other new moms. Tea will be provided. All levels of experience welcome. Babies 6 weeks to pre-crawling.
Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa yoga is a more dynamic practice that includes poses that focus on both strength and flexibility. All levels are welcome (including keen beginners).
Please bring your own yoga mat and any yoga props you may wish to use.

Beyond Baby Vinyasa
A series for those who wanting to do a yoga class without their baby/toddler in tow. It will be a Vinyasa based class, although we will take things slightly slower with more options to help everyone either integrate back into their yoga practice or begin a yoga practice after baby. We will focus on the pelvic floor, core and other areas of the body that tend to be affected in our postpartum journeys. Every class will include both stretching and strengthening poses and will end with restorative yoga, which can be hugely beneficial in combatting the tired and wired feeling that can come with having babies and kids.
